Everything you need to know about the Google Grant Program. Who qualifies, requirements, how to apply, how to maintain your google grant, and how we can help

Did you know your non-profit could be eligible for a Grant from Google? It's simple all you need is a website, a 501c3 from the IRS and someone who can manage your account for you. Almost every Non-profit with a federally recognized 501c3 can receive up to $10k a month in Google Ads budget to use for outreach, volunteers recruitment, and donations for your organization. Below are the requirements for maintaining your eligibility and although they might seem daunting our team is here to help.

The three exceptions that cannot receive a grant:
Schools or educational institutions
Government organizations
Hospitals or healthcare organizations

To maintain eligibility in the Google Ad Grants program:

Your ads must only link to the ONE nonprofit website domain that was approved in the application.

You are required to actively manage the AdWords account by logging in monthly and making at least one change to your account every 90 days, based on review of your account performance. Your account is subject to automatic pausing or cancellation without notification should you fail to make any changes in your account for over 90 days.

Your ads must reflect the mission of the approved nonprofit organization and your keywords must be relevant to the nonprofit’s programs and services.

Strictly commercial advertising is not allowed through this program. If you intend to promote products or services, 100% of the sales and/or proceeds must support your program.

Your Google ads cannot link to pages that are primarily links to other websites.

Ads offering financial products (such as mortgages or credit cards) or those requesting car, boat or property donations and related keywords are not allowed.

Your website cannot display Google AdSense ads or affiliate advertising links while participating in Google Ad Grants.

Ad Grantees found in violation of any of these guidelines are subject to removal from the program. Google reserves the right to grant or deny an organization's application or participation at any time, for any reason, and to supplement or amend these eligibility guidelines at any time. Selections are made at Google's sole discretion, and are not subject to external review.

We know this all can seem jarring but our team is here to help. Expand your outreach with a Grant from Google.

Different Perceptions in Different Cultures. How We See the World Around Us

People around the world have different perspectives by definition. There are plenty of differences but I want to focus on how our senses can shape our world.

The way we perceive things shapes our reality, but have you ever wondered how culture could change the way we perceive the world around us?

People around the world have different perspectives by definition. There are plenty of differences but I want to focus on how our senses can shape our world.

Color is a great example of how we can have different perspectives. Some people see colors differently because of the cones in their eyes. But some people see colors differently because of culture. The stoplights in japan are blue while they are green most everywhere else. Another example is they call what we in western culture call green apples, blue apples.

Sounds and music is another great example of how what we might hear can be different across other cultures. A sad sounding song in western culture could appear to be a happy uplifting melody in another.

An Inside Perspective - Digital Marketing

Does it ever feel like you are getting nickeled and dimed from marketing companies while getting worst quality service year after year? Here's why

The biggest reasons we continue to get worse and worse service in the industry are entirely preventable.

The first reason that strikes us as an issue is the number of clients each expert is handling. We think that each company's account needs amble time and attention to foster the growth our clients want. This means when executives think that cutting employees means raising profits that means your accounts suffer. That's why at Alpineer Marketing Company we believe in keeping our experts' client load low. So they can better focus on you!

The second reason is that these companies do not pay enough to retain their best employees. In today's labor supply and demand has gotten flipped on it's head and some companies have yet to figure this out. This means they lose their best employees and can sometimes struggle to retain any employees at all. The common response of "there is no room in the budget" is entirely transparent and will not help keep your best employees. That's why at Alpineer Marketing Company we are profit sharing. That means our experts share in our growth. We also are fully remote so you don't pay for overpriced overhead like offices or executives. Only experts who care about your business!

Attribution - The Great Unknown

With the news of privacy concerns between Apple, Facebook & Google the main issue that arises is attribution. Sales are still coming through these channels but it is getting harder to attribute properly. So what does that mean for us?

Marketers have dealt with attribution since the beginning of time. The concepts of billboards, print advertising, etc speak to the idea that this has likely always been an issue.

The old adage of "half the money I spend on advertising is wasted; the trouble is I don't know which half" by John Wanamaker was uttered over 100 years ago. Digital Marketing can help find some sense of the attribution but that saying still rings true today.

I typically like to talk about directly attributable sales and total return. This is usually in Google Analytics or the backend of their sites but when it comes to local campaigns we have to work with our clients to discern success.

Paid ads traffic can account for a majority of direct & organic search revenue without giving proper credit. I have seen clients shut off advertising for not understanding this only to get a frantic phone call the next week.
